More Libraries to Join (BOW, Needham, BPL)
Babson and Wellesley libraries:
All BOW students are eligible to borrow from BOW libraries, but you must first register in-person once to unlock borrowing privileges.
- Your school's ID is required for registration.
- Contact the partner library in advance to confirm staff will be available to register you, and that you'll have access to the building.
- Babson and Wellesley students who wish to borrow Olin books should email library@olin.edu to schedule a registration appointment (10-15 minutes). Please note: Olin’s A/V equipment is restricted to Olin-use only and is off-limits for Babson/Wellesley students unless officially cross-registered.
- Exception: Cross-registered BOW students receive full library privileges at the respective BOW college for the semester. Those accounts expire upon completion of the cross-reg course.
Even More Libraries to Join:
- Needham Free Library: Needham is also an MLN member, but getting an additional Needham MLN card unlocks additional benefits, including discount museum passes (beyond those offered by Olin), their unique Library of Things collection, and access to their digital collections. Check their website or contact them for all required ID/address-verification documents.
- Boston Public Library eCard: The BPL eCard unlocks access to all BPL electronic resources, including their unique ebook and streaming content. The BPL is the state library of Massachusetts, therefore everyone who lives here for the majority of the year is eligible for an eCard. Use your Olin mailing address as your home address when registering.
